Catharina Eden, the label.
After six women’s ready to wear collections the Catharina Eden brand is launching with a new ethos combining fashion with art in its many forms.
The label re-defines what makes art in clothing in a way that is beautiful, elegant and feminine, but most of all wearable. Working on the same principles as art, each dress from the collection is unique and will be available by commission only and made in Catharina’s own atelier Eden Studio.
For the launch collection Catharina has taken her childhood memories and emotions as inspiration and used a combination of printed art and outstanding fashion design to bring a collection of stunning dresses to life.

For the prints Catharina worked in collaboration with artist Rob Burton, who interpreted the designers visions into paintings and drawings and used a mixture of screen and digital printing techniques to transfer these images onto the dresses.
The uniqueness of the “Jewelled Spine Collection” is that a customer’s own images and memories will replace the designer’s prints on the dresses, resulting in a highly personal, wearable piece of art. This one-of a kind, fully bespoke and customised approach to each creation forms the DNA of the newly launched label.
In the same way that one might own a painting or a sculpture, one can now own a beautiful dress with a personal component that will make it come alive for the wearer in a way that is unique.
